Every first Thursday of the month you can join us on the water for a paddle on the calm waters next to Camp Pollock followed by a live concert under the trees. Camp Pollock is a hidden gem of Sacramento that has been preserved for environmental education by the Sacramento Valley Conservancy. Hidden down a dirt road you will find 10 acres of beautiful landscape, a brand new lodge and manicured lands with a native plant garden.
For this event, we will paddle before the music starts and enjoy some of the best accessible water in Sacramento. You can come and go as you please as the paddling itself will not be structured. Just grab a board and go for a cruz and when you're done relax and enjoy the tunes! You are welcome to bring your own food and beverages (including wine or beer) for after your paddle. Just please be responsible and make sure you are not drinking before or during your paddle. Basic instruction will be given to any new paddlers.
